Salmon and Kale in the Microwave
This recipe isn’t something extraordinary but it will save your breakfast or lunch if you are short of time and rush to cook something. Just a fast and healthy dish which you can not only cook in the microwave oven, but also keep the ready meal in the fridge and warm up in the microwave when needed.
Ingredients:
2 salmon filets
1 chopped green onion
Salt, pepper and chili chips
Olive oil
2 handfuls of kale
Juice of half a lemon
Take the salmon without skin and cut into identical pieces. Place them in a microwave-safe bowl, sprinkle with green onion, salt, pepper, and chili.
Add olive oil and cover the bowl tightly with the lid.
Microwave the dish for five minutes at full power.
The moisture from the fish creates the steaming effect thanks to which the salmon is cooked well and does not dry out.
Let it sit for a few minutes before you take off the lid.
In a separate bowl sprinkle the kale with salt, pepper, lemon juice, and olive oil.
Again, cover the dish and microwave at full power, now for four minutes.
Thus, the kale will become very soft and delicious.
Let it also sit for a few minutes before taking off the cover.
Mix all the ingredients and serve, or place in an air-proof mold and put in the fridge.
