Welcome to Can You Microwave it! My food website was started in 2016 when I was living in Los Angeles for the first time. With little to no cash, I rented a bachelor unit with no kitchen and just enough room for a bed, a fridge, a television and a microwave.
Looking to make decent food, I literally made every dish from scrambled eggs for breakfast to meatloaf in my microwave. The necessity of using this appliance changed me. I used it for making food which in turn made me a master chef with a microwave. Of course, every once in a while I would reheat a slice of pizza too.
It was a time of trial and error, but I came up with every food, material and even liquid you could possibly appreciate for a meal. And then there were a few foods you should never microwave (I share those too.)
